The Trees Are Bigger Now

When you go back there

Remember to breath in

Deep

Fresh

Air

Coming from the

Healthy

Strong

Trees

The trees are bigger now.

When you ambulate

Through those spaces

Be sure to

Notice the

Big

Thick

Roots

Since you were here last

Sinking deep

Sucking down

Nutrient hungry

Tendrils

The trees are bigger now.

Look up

At those

Stout

Long

Branches

Each with many fingers

Long enough to caress.

Your shoulders

And

The sky

Watch the clouds float by

And

Listen

To the leaves

Sing.

Sometimes things die.

To

Become

Something new.

Be sure to notice how,

The trees are bigger now.
